roast chickpeas with a couple recipes cacao / dark chocolate 70% cacao) pepitas (pumpkin seeds) edamame (Everyone recommends. RantWoman is unenthusiastic but has become more interested in tofu!) blueberries! Note tips about interactions of some foods with medication.

Exercises to avoid with osteoporosis

Image
#osteoporosis #CompressionFracture  Standard disclaimer: consult a physical therapist or certified trainer to decide about options and learn proper technique. Standard RantWoman observation: are the spoken instructions enough that someone can understand them without the video. This video is a solid maybe with more emphasis on the "work this the right way" than on the "don't do this if." But readers' mileage will vary.

MAGNESIUM minus a grandmother

Image
The only grandmother food RantWoman remembers is home-canned tomato juice. Yikes, but RantWoman can definitely see why it was total comfort food for RantMom  RantMom baked mainly whole wheat bread; the point about getting rid of the bran loomed large and good fresh home baked whole wheat bread still thrills RantWoman. As for mixing molasses with milk, um.... RantWoman already eats a lot of the items listed here. RantWoman keyed in hard to the connection between potassium and eased leg cramps. RantWoman is still recovering from a spell of leg cramps while no matter what RantWoman did, bananas did not register on her Amazon order. RantWoman finally did plan be which resulted in a bunch of EIGHT bananas at the perfect stage of greenness. They won't last 8 days but somehow RantWoman's body is happy to replenish. Nobody wants your stuff?

RantWoman has lived in the same apartment for 20+ years. That is plenty of time for STUFF to accumulate. RantWoman is determined to get rid of at least1/3 of the crap currently in her apartment.  RantWoman is unclear that this video is going to be her go-to reference. RantWoman is enlisting a couple people to help cope with all the ghosts that will rattle back to memory. Also needed: help with better eyes to help decide which piles of paper to purge and which need to be kept. Should be FUN

Upper body work with resistance bands

Any benefit to doing while sitting? RantWoman sits a lot on Zoom and probably can work some exercises like these into her routine--OFF CAMERA Random other notes about exercises. For a bunch of reasons, RantWoman mostly means to mix in exercises throughout her day. If RantWoman does exercises all at once, she will just collapse. If she spaces different ones throughout the day, RantWoman will keep the metabolism slightly revved for more of the day and benefit from an exercise energy pickup. Here's hoping anyway. Today it dawned on RantWoman that it would make sense to tackle her leg exercises differently for a while. RantWoman has not been hitting the suggested targets of 2 sets of 20 reps at a time one a bunch of exercises to be done 3 times a week. RantWoman really does not have time to do that for all exercises on every cycle.  BUT if RantWoman trades off, doing some exercises one day and some another day, RantWoman can build endurance AND manage time. RantWoman will also be...
